Westlake Recreation Area

1st Annual WESTLAKE

WHEN: November 1, 2003
WHERE: Westlake Recreation Area

(2 miles West of Lahoma or 10 minutes West of Enid)

Come spend the day tasting wines and cheeses from several sources.  See other products from a variety of unique Oklahoma businesses.

As of October 9th, 2003, 6 of Oklahoma's 17 working wineries are planning to attend the Festival. Please try to visit each one, at your leisure, sometime during the day. They will be glad to share with you information about their winery and their particular selection of wines. Beginning November 1, 2003, (the day of the festival), it is possible to buy wine from the participants at the festival.

The number of the Made in Oklahoma vendors planning to attend is still increasing.  We hope to have many with a wide variety of MIO products here.  Please visit them as well throughout the day

Watch BEDLAM FOOTBALL on BIG SCREEN TV with your friends and neighbors.
The start time for the game is yet to be determined but it could be anywhere from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM.
For those who are planning to watch the BEDLAM football game, we are looking forward to having you with us.  We hope that there will be no injuries at the game, and more importantly, that everyone here has a good time.  Please cheer on your favorite team and players while respecting your fellow watchers here and the opposing team and players at the game.

Every ADULT will receive a wine tasting glass for the day.  The first 100 ADULTS entering will receive a special commemorative wine tasting glass.

$5.00 at the gate for the whole day.

Starting on November 1, 2003, unopened bottles of wine can be purchased at wine festivals.
